Description
Photo taken during the Grand Opening in October 1966. Those in the photo identified by Jan Elliott as, left to right, an unknown Standard Oil/Chevron representative, Mildred and Hop Elliott, Howie, Tom Henderson and Don McGee who was another representative. Per David Wellington: Howie was only there for a short time, maybe 8 or 10 months and that is when Del Larson started. Tom Henderson later went on to be a police officer some of the time in Clatskanie. Per Kay Heflin: my husband Dick Heflin worked there after he graduated from high school in 1967. Photo taken from the 1967 Rainier Union High School yearbook.
