Lost Creek Elementary School
Compiled by Mike Clark March 18, 2019
In the article "History of Delena Recounted" from the May 9, 1957 issue of the Rainier (Oregon) Review, it mentions that "The Delena school in 1922 was rebuilt from a one-room into a two-room school. Around the same time the people on Lost Creek road began to build a school because it was too far for the children to walk to the Delena School." It was said that when the Lost Creek School was eventually closed, the children were then transported to Delena most likely by bus.
